A Truther's Creed*

* With a special thanks to KEVIN BARRETT - whose words were shamelessly lifted and shuffled with additions and subtractions.

“I am very happy when I hear people in the 9/11 truth movement saying kind things about each other. The way I see it, the 9/11 truth movement is like a family. We have our quarrels and our differences, and we definitely have a weird uncle or two.

But when Bush comes to shove (sorry for the pun), we need to stick together - especially when we're under attack by outsiders - which is pretty much all the time. We can make it clear that we don't agree with our weird uncle on everything, without trying to humiliate and drum him out of the family.

Social scientists know that the most important factor in making any group successful is that when people feel like family, and work toward a common goal, they succeed. When they fall into factions and quarreling, they fail. It really is that simple.

The worst way a group can fall apart is when it starts scapegoating its own members - rather than attacking the outside “anti-truth enemy.” It is important that we treat the whole 9/11 truth movement like our family.

Most of the issues that pro-Truthers quarrel over are relatively unimportant compared to the supreme importance of promoting “family” unity. The mistaken notion that a weird uncle (or two) - who may pursue even controversial agendas and make some mistakes is a mortally-threatening PR problem.

This has led some sincere activists to waste time and energy in very destructive infighting about issues that don't matter much in the long run - with profoundly destructive effects on the unity and family-feeling aspects of the 9/11 truth movement.

If there are disinformation agents among us, their job it is to promote conflict, incite witch-hunts against people in the 9/11 truth community, and generally try to paint us as nuts. Never help them do their job.

Instead of insisting within our group for "the one correct answer," - we need to consider that a divergent way of thinking may actually make us stronger and more effective in the real-world difficulties of spreading the Truth to all of those "divergent" other peoples.

To fully honor and accept the differences among us will make us stronger and help to build the feeling of unity that will bring us victory. We simply need to treat each other like family - regardless of any other factors that divide us.

I hereby declare that all of you who are sincerely working for 9/11 Truth - are now and will always be like family to me.”

There are many paid disinformation agents and critical amateurs "out there." Their job it is to promote conflict, incite witch-hunts against people in the 9/11 truth community, and generally try to paint us as nuts.

Let's not help them do their job, eh?

A fellow Truther needs to be treated kindly and with respect - ALWAYS - no matter what.

If we don't take care of ourselves - nobody else will. 9/11 Truth can be a tough sell and we expect to be attacked from outside - but not inside - our respective groups.
