Carpenter Marlene Cruz Survives Explosions in the WTC North Tower Basement - BEFORE the Plane hit

On September 12, 2001, Peter Jennings interviews Marlene Cruz, a carpenter injured in one of the pre-collapse explosions in the WTC-sub-basement level B long before the planes hit the towers.

She was the first casualty of 9/11 admitted at Bellevue Hospital.

Cruz is a living witness whose testimony proves that pre-planted explosives were used to weaken the foundations of the towers as part of a well-planned controlled demolition.




When a controlled demolition implosion is being carried out on tall buildings, there are often strategic pre-collapse explosions to weaken and fracture the basement sub-structure; effectively creating a cavity into which the building contents will fall.

This was essential for the WTC twin towers because of the 110 stories worth of debris that came crashing down. The resulting demolition pile was so minimal because the volume of the upper floors were thrown into the deep basements below.

Despite hundreds of eyewitness reports of explosions throughout the Twin Towers by doomed victims, survivors, emergency service personnel, reporters, and bystanders, the 9/11 Commission Report contains virtually no mention of them and entirely ignores them in its conclusions.

This is one of the clearest videos of the towers. After the second tower is hit (around the 11:40 - 12:16 mark), the viewer said it was a "military plane."

"We watched and filmed the attack on the WTC out the window of home, 36 floors up and 500 yards away from the North tower."

Small explosive ejections focused on a corner column of WTC1 (The North Tower of the World Trade Center) are evidence of cutter charges used to cut the corner columns. One of these occurs at the 98th floor at the onset of the demolition of the building. The other occurs lower in the building at the instant the column enters free fall.

It took me a while to decide to post videos about "the jumpers." My decision came after a conversation with someone who said "What does it matter now - forget it - it's time to move on. We've already had an investigation and it would cost too much to begin a new one." I disagreed - we cannot ignore the evidence nor deny those huge unanswered questions about the "official story."

The shock of the events of 9/11 hasn't been forgotten - especially those who witnessed the “Jumpers.”
This man remembers photographing the people who jumped.



The story of the victims who jumped to their deaths is one of the more poignant aspects of the September 11th attacks. It is most certainly one of the harder aspects to deal with - even after all these years. Photographs of people falling to their deaths shocked the world. Most newspapers and magazines ran only one or two photos, then chose to not publish any more.


But the few images that were out there, like The Falling Man (above), resonated with unbelief. Many who survived or witnessed the attacks on the WTC say the sight of victims jumping to a certain death is their most horrible memory of that day.


It is estimated that at least 200 people jumped to their deaths that morning, far more than can be seen in the photographs available to the public. Nearly all were from the north tower, which you will remember was hit first and collapsed last. Fewer than a dozen of the jumpers were from the south tower.



The jumping started shortly after the first jet hit at 8:46 a.m. People jumped continuously during the 102 minutes that the north tower stood. Two people jumped as the north tower began to fall at 10:28 a.m., witnesses said. For those who jumped, the fall lasted just 10 seconds. They struck the ground at 150 miles per hour — not fast enough to cause unconsciousness while falling, but fast enough to ensure instant death on impact.


Desperate people jumped from all four sides of the north tower. They jumped alone, they jumped in pairs and they jumped in groups. They jumped holding hands.


Nobody survived on the floors from which people jumped. Ultimately the jumpers, often called the day’s most public victims, chose not whether to die but how they would die. I am quite certain I would not have such courage.

There are so many unanswered questions surrounding the tragic events of 9/11 and this is why we need a new and independent investigation of 9/11.

Explosion BEFORE the Plane Hit the Tower

Here is the important eye-witness account of Mr. William Rodriguez, a Janitor working in the North Tower. He was in the basement, when he heard an explosion - BEFORE the plane hit the building.

He is something of a hero on many levels, helping to rescue victims from the building - he also sued the Bush Administration for the attacks. You can see his website here.

On the day however, he clearly told the press about the first explosion - thought to be a bomb in the building - heard before the plane hit. However, in one famous TV news interview, his testimony is 'edited' in such a way, so as to suggest that he is saying that ONLY the plane hit the building.



Below is a newscast on 9/11/06 - five years later, William Rodriguez is featured on National Network News. His comments were cleverly edited after he says BOOM!! - which completely changes the meaning so that nobody will question the "official story."

And just to make sure that anything William says isn't to be taken seriously, the news reader brings up the current explosive issue of "undocumented workers" and links it to William Rodriguez. (

Also, please note that William Rodriguez is a native of Puerto Rico and is, of course, an American citizen. He saved fifteen people by leading and helping them out of the Basement of Tower One. He was the only person at the site with the master key to the North Tower stairwells amd he bravely led firefighters up the stairwell, unlocking doors as they ascended. This brave act helped hundreds of people get out of that building alive. Rodriguez is believed to be the last person to exit the falling North Tower alive.




Anthony Saltalamacia was with Rodriguez in the basement. For the first time after 6 years, they meet and his recollection was taped.

Cutter Charges in the North Tower of the WTC

This project began with an email from Graeme MacQueen to me describing an explosion on the NW corner of WTC1.

I started looking for other such explosions and found a prominent one right at the initiation point on the 98th floor. I further noticed a corner column sticking up after the roofline had fallen past. The top of the surviving column matched the height of the corner ejection moments before. This seemed to be the event that cut the column. The column hovered and swayed for several seconds then precipitously dropped. I wondered if Graeme's explosion was the one that triggered the drop. I found a way to synchronize the videos and then was able to verify that Graeme's "puff" occurred exactly at the moment of drop of the column.

The main significant points I see in this observation are:
1) The building is doing more than just blowing smoke out the windows. The puffs we see are part of the cause of the collapse.
2) We are seeing charges that can cut through the steel corners of the buildings
3) We are seeing a specific 14" column cut by explosives in two places: one to set it loose, and one to cause it to drop.
4) The two explosions occur in a time-delayed sequence, indicative of demolition

Speeds Reported For World Trade Center Attack Aircraft Analyzed

Much controversy has surrounded the speeds reported for the World Trade Center attack aircraft. However, none of the arguments for either side of the debate have been properly based on actual data, until now. Pilots For 9/11 Truth have recently analyzed data provided by the National Transportation Safety Board in terms of a "Radar Data Impact Speed Study" in which the NTSB concludes 510 knots and 430 knots for United 175 (South Tower) and American 11 (North Tower), respectively. A benchmark has been set by the October 1999 crash of Egypt Air 990, a 767 which exceeded it's maximum operating limits causing in-flight structural failure, of which data is available to compare to the WTC Attack Aircraft.

Egypt Air 990 (EA990) is a 767 which was reported to have entered a dive and accelerated to a peak speed of .99 Mach at 22,000 feet. Boeing sets maximum operating speeds for the 767 as 360 Knots and .86 Mach. The reason for two airspeed limitations is due to air density at lower vs. higher altitudes. To understand equivalent dynamic pressures on an airframe of low vs. high altitude, there is an airspeed appropriately titled "Equivalent Airspeed" or EAS[1]. EAS is defined as the airspeed at sea level which produces the same dynamic pressure acting on the airframe as the true airspeed at high altitudes.[2]

Pilots For 9/11 Truth have calculated the Equivalent Airspeed for EA990 peak speed of .99 Mach at 22,000 feet as the equivalent dynamic effects of 425 knots at or near sea level. This airspeed is 65 knots over max operating for a 767, 85 knots less than the alleged United 175, and 5 knots less than the alleged American 11. Although it may be probable for the alleged American 11 to achieve such speed as 430 knots is only 5 knots over that of EA990 peak speed, It is impossible for the alleged United 175 to achieve the speeds reported by the NTSB using EA990 as a benchmark.

Pilots For 9/11 Truth have further studied if a 767 could continue controlled flight at such reported speeds. According to the NTSB, EA990 wreckage was found in two distinct debris fields, indicating in-flight structural failure which has been determined to have occurred a few seconds after recording peak speed. Based on EA990, it is impossible for the alleged United 175 to have continued controlled flight at more than 85 knots over the speed which failed the structure of EA990.

Full detailed analysis, including analysis of a recent simulator experiment performed, and interviews with United and American Airlines 757/767 Pilots can be viewed in the new presentation, "9/11: World Trade Center Attack" available only at http://pilotsfor911truth.org. Although other factors come into play within the transonic ranges, Dynamic pressure is dynamic pressure. Math doesn't lie. Boeing needs to release wind tunnel data for the Boeing 767. Despite the fact that the data can be fabricated, such a release of data may alert more pilots and engineers to the extremely excessive speeds reported near sea level for the Boeing 767 in which they can decide for themselves.

Founded in August 2006, Pilots For 9/11 Truth is a growing organization of aviation professionals from around the globe. The organization has also analyzed Flight Data provided by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) for the Pentagon Attack and the events in Shanksville, PA. The data does not support the government story. The NTSB/FBI refuse to comment. Pilots For 9/11 Truth do not offer theory or point blame at this point in time.
